From Secular Matchmaking to Kingdom Purpose

Let’s get one thing straight: I love love. Always have. For over 25 years, I’ve been in the business of helping people find it. But here’s what you might not know—I wasn’t always a Christian Matchmaker and Relationship Consultant.

For most of my career, I thrived in the secular world of matchmaking and consulting—helping people find relationships based on attraction, compatibility tests, and “right place, right time” strategies. I was successful, my clients were happy, and life was good.

But something was missing. God was nudging me, whispering, “There’s more.”

You see, I’ve always known and loved Jesus, but I was still operating by the world’s playbook for love, not His. And when God calls, you listen—especially when He turns your whole world upside down (in the best way)—a beautiful disaster, if you will.

In late 2021, God pulled me out of the secular dating world and into Kingdom matchmaking. It wasn’t just a career shift—it was a divine redirection. Suddenly, I wasn’t just helping people find love—I was helping them find God’s best for their lives.

And let me tell you, I had some eye-opening revelations along the way.

Turns out, the worlds way of teaching about love is simply butterflies, chemistry, or a perfectly timed text. And guess what? It works! But although it works it’s not God’s way. God’s way is about principles, emotional intelligence, and true spiritual alignment. Being in love isn’t what makes marriages and relationships thrive. Healing, sacrifice and obedience does. Healing isn’t just spa days and bubble baths (though I highly recommend both!). It’s facing insecurities, quieting anxieties, and learning to love yourself the way God does.

And here’s the biggest truth bomb I’ve learned:

Logic alone can leave your heart in ruins. Feelings alone can lead you into disaster. But when you align your heart and mind with God’s truth? That’s where the real magic happens. It’s a PCOE thing.

Why I Do What I Do

Now, as a Christian Matchmaker and Relationship Consultant, I take everything I’ve learned—from decades of experience to my own transformation—to help singles and couples build relationships that are more than just good… they’re God-ordained.

I don’t just introduce people. I equip them with wisdom, strategy, and faith-driven principles to create a love story that actually lasts. Because let’s be honest—a wedding is easy. A marriage is the real work.

Let’s Talk About Happiness for a quick sec…

Let me ask you this: Are you truly happy?

Here’s the thing—happiness is not a myth. It’s not reserved for “other people.” It’s yours for the taking.

But let’s be real—no one ever said life was going to be easy. No one promised that joy would just fall into our laps or that happiness would always come effortlessly. That’s exactly why God spoke to us about the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We need love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance to get through the tough times.

But here’s what I know: Just because happiness can be elusive doesn’t mean you stop searching for it. Just because life is hard doesn’t mean you quit on joy. God never said the road would be easy, but He did promise that when you seek Him, trust Him, and align with His plan, true joy is possible.

Stop listening to the people telling you joy isn’t obtainable or that your desire for it is silly. They’re silly! Lol (No, but seriously.) The world will always try to convince you to settle, to stay stuck, to believe that "this is just how life is." But you’re not of this world anymore—you’re walking into something greater. So trust the wisdom inside you, the Holy Spirit guiding you, and the knowing in your soul that there is more.

Yes, it takes work, faith, and persistence, but joy is worth fighting for. And when you step boldly into your purpose, choose joy daily, and surrender to God’s process—everything shifts. (Philippians 4:8)

May this be the spark that leads you to deeper faith, greater love, and a life fully lived. Because here’s the truth: God’s plan for you is bigger, better, and more breathtaking than you can imagine. (Jeremiah 29:11)
